How it started
Rob Ellis and Hans Frauenlob were working together in the employee benefits space. They shared a vision of employees being able to choose their own benefits, at an affordable price for their employers.
When working with group insurers, they realized that it was really difficult for group insurers to offer individual choice in their group products.
Group business was run on spreadsheets, or on legacy technology that couldn't be easily changed. Group policy admin was focused on producing invoices and policy documents - but not on servicing the individual insured.
Commercial PAS solutions focused on the unique processing needs of the group insurer were few. Those that existed were priced for Tier 1 insurers, and well beyond the budgets of mid-size or growing insurers.
Rob and Hans decided to do something about it.
And so in 2020, Sentro was born. A Group PAS solution - focused on the needs of group insurance administrators. Configurable. Cloud-based. Designed with online service to the end insured member in mind. Affordable for growing insurers.
Today customers around the world use Sentro to run group business. Life, medical, fleet, cyber, employee benefits - group propositions are all being run on Sentro.
